Pink and Purple Version of Yesterday's Design

This is the same eye design I did yesterday, but instead I used a purple and pink approach. They eyeshadow is all urban decay. I love how bright urban decays colors are. Truely, and obviously my fave brand of cosmetics. I remember buying my first pallete of eyeshadow and after only using it once I knew it would be hard to use any other eyeshadow because no other colors are as vibrant.

A very starry eye design

A very starry eye design which took a while for me to do because I couldnt decide on what colors. I first started off with pink, but then decided to change it to blue. And then my right eye keeps watering for some reason, and I cant get it to stop. But the left eye looks great. LOL I wonder why my eye keeps tearing...? How annoying. At least my make up on that eye still looks semi decent. Eyeshadow is all urban decay colors, eye liner is urban decay, the black pencil, and mascara is a sample I received from sephora. Hope you all like!

Feather Wings Eye Design -All done with Urban Decay Products

This is an eye design that I designed on my face today. I was going for streaks, and I had planned to put stars, shooting stars was my vision, but once I got this far, I liked it and thought that it looked like angel wings in a way. The colors I used was woodstock eyeshadow and eye pencil, baked eyeshadow, zero eyeshadow, ransom eye pencil, and I guess the only thing that I didnt use that was urban decay was my mascara, which was a sample given to me by sephora. Hope you like!

Swirl Style Eye Design - Urban Decay Eyeshadow and Eyeliner

This is my swirl eye design, mostly done with Urban Decay (im super obsessed with urban decay!) and some glitter eyeliner I got from some cheap cosmetic store online, and it ended up being a great buy. I wish I remembered the store. My fave pallette is the delux shadow box from urban decay, which I use on a daily basis, but my fave shadow of theirs is woodstock! I cant find any other eyeshadow that is brighter, or pinker. Nothing can compare. Or I havent found what that brand is that does. :)

New Eye Design - Urban Decay Style

An eye design I created with urban decay eyeshadow, the rollergirl pallet, and also the DELUXE SHADOW BOX. Colors used were the Blue (Peace) from the delux shadow box, Green (graffitti) from the delux shadow box, and Pink (Woodstock) from the rollergirl pallette.

Ole Henriksen Truth Serum Collagen Booster Review

Ole Henriksen Truth Serum Collagen Booster

I originally came about this item as a free sample included with one of my purchases from sephora, and after trying it, I immediately fell in love with it, and ended up finding a good deal (once again at Sephora) and I was suprised to find a great deal, the Naked Truth set for $22. The Naked Truth set comes with a 15ml bottle of Ole Henriksen's Truth Serum Collagen Booster, and also comes with truth crème advanced hydration creme.

($48.00 for 1.0 oz.) is described as “a high-potency vitamin C complex that prevents and corrects signs of aging while promoting brightness.” It contains 10% vitamin C. This is supposed to firm, smooth, feel weightless, absorb quickly, and provide “instant and long-term hydration.”

This little bottle goes a long way. You only need one or two squirts and rub it in. It is very spreadable, and it absorbs very quickly. The squirt cap I think is perfect, because it give out just enough for one use, and enables me to maximize every bottle. Although, I do hold the cap directly into my hand, the first time I didnt hold it directly into my hand and it flew, well, not in my hand. LOL

The results I feel are instant. I could feel my face evening itself out immediately after use. and after applying my foundation, the collagen really made a different. My wrinkle that I am so determined to get rid of appeared to barely be visible!

My mom also tried this product, and she fell in love with it. Like I said, instant results, I love instant results. I get kind of impatient, and hoping to see instant results and get bummed out when I dont notice any. Thats why my mom and I fell in love with this product. It works great, and I love it, the only downside I see is the price, $48, although paying for it is well worth the product, and the other downside, it works short term and instantly, but does it last long term? I'll have to get back to you on that when Im in between bottles and waiting for my other to arrive.

Psycadelic Sister Urban Decay Eyeshadow Review

Urban decay's Psycadelic Sister is a is a medium-dark purple with red undertones and an iridescent violet sheen-shimmer. (Retail of $18)This purple goes well with any eye color, and it goes on very smoothly. You can use it lightly for a light dash of purple, or you can use it dry or with a little moisture to put it on heavy dark purple.

I think that this eyeshadow should be more popular among the eyeshadows, and I am confused as to why it isnt more popular. I use this eyeshadow almost every day! Psycadelic Sister is very long lasting, and the shimmer is very delicate.  The packaging I like much better than the old ones, and they are definately much more attractive than the older ones. They have perfected the packaging well and I have read that the new packaging was inspired by NYC subway tokens. The new cases pop out and enables you to choose, mix, and build your own pallet with Urban Decays Build Your Own Palette.

This is what Urban Decay had to say over all about their new eyeshadows, inlcuding Psycadelic Sister.

"An industry favorite and our best-selling product! Available in over 50 shades, our pigment-rich shadows are versatile, blendable, beautiful.

This is the product we were born to make - our best-seller! Professionals, celebrities, and makeup junkies swoon for our wide array of shades. Each one is pigment-rich: we load the shadow with color, and add very few binders (the stuff that holds shadow together), resulting in beautiful color that blends easily and lasts. Lots of finishes to suit your mood: sparkle, shimmer, duotone or un-sparkly satin.

Our subway token compact comes complete with a window (see your shade without opening), and snaps shut with one hand - no more lost lids."
All Eyeshadows can be used wet for more intense color, try them as a liner!

Dust sparkly shades on cheekbones and shoulders with our Powder brush for unearthly shimmer."

Violent Lips Red Glitterati Detailed Review with Pictures

Violent Lips are temporary lip stickers/tattoos. The idea is quite unique, and Violent Lips offers many different styles to choose from, simple to wild. I got the red and pink glitterati on sale from Sephora. After reading the instructions once and once over, I cut according to their guidelines and did the best I could to cut and trim the Violent Lip Tattoo to fit my lips.

After cutting it down to my lip size and shape I got a washcloth and soaked it in water and then applied it to my lips. I have had a previous experience with Violent Lips and the Blue Glitterati, and using too little water will get you no where. In the Violent Lips tutorial video, they make it look so easy. I agree that it takes a little bit of practice and getting used to, but if you decide to purchase any of the Glitterati know that it is a frustrating beginning experience until you get it down.

Just like my first experience, the Red Glitterati tattoos are similar to a semi thick like gel that you have to moisten on your lips and mold the lip tattoo onto your lips. This is not a quick process! I have red in other reviews of this product that they remove the lip tattoo after only a few seconds. For me, I spent several minutes wetting and molding the tattoo to my lips, and trying to make them stay in place. The sides of the lips are the hardest part to get to stay.

After failing with my first attempt, my second attempt went much better, but they still didnt turn out like I thought they would. I am not sure if I am just being picky, but there were parts that wouldnt stay in place, and when I looked in the mirror I could see imperfecions, edges not sticking, some parts looking like a wrinkle. But from far away I dont think anyone would be able to notice.

In the picture above you can see that I could not get all of the sides to stick. Very frustrating.

Now the removal is much easier than putting them on! To remove I just have to grab one of the sides with my fingers and peel them off. That is very convenient.

Maybe I expected something different after using so many of the knock offs I purchased from ebay. The knock offs from ebay are much cheaper, and they are much easier and faster to put on! The knock offs are literally just like real temporary tattoos that you would put on your skin. They apply to your lips with ease and very quickly, Then after I always put on some lip gloss to make sure the two lips wouldnt stick together and peel eachother apart. The downside to the knock offs is that they dont pop out like Violent Lips, and removing them is much more difficult than simply peeling them off like you can with Violent Lips. Although, after much experience applying the lip gloss and rubbing your finger makes the tattoo come up and off your lips much faster than it would if you didnt have any lip gloss on them.

I believe that the knock offs last longer, for they truely are molded and almost kind of painted on, with no edges lifting up like the Violent Lips.

Im not sure, maybe I need more experience with the Violent Lips collection, but from my standpoint right now, I think and suggest that the knock offs are the way to go.

thick and more of a gooey feeling
